Leigh Steinberg, named the “Greatest Sports Agent in History” by Forbes Magazine, was the first super sports agent. Leigh signed Heisman Award winners Warren Moon and Troy Aikman along with over 60 first-round picks in the NFL draft, including a record eight number one selections. His clients included All Pros, Super Bowl MVPs, as well as MLB and NBA All-Stars. Leigh was the inspiration behind the Oscar Award winning movie “Jerry Maguire” starring Tom Cruise, as well as a consultant on that film, “Any Given Sunday” starring Al Pacino, and “For the Love of the Game” with Kevin Costner. Leigh founded and operates Steinberg Sports and Entertainment, which represents NFL MVP and multiple Super Bowl Champion Patrick Maholmes as well as numerous other household names in sports and entertainment. Leigh Steinberg is also a popular speaker, the owner of the Steinberg Sports Academy, and a best-selling author for his autobiography “The Agent”, with a forward from NFL Hall-of Fame quarterback Warren Moon.
