Sally Miller is an award winning fashion designer and retailer for tweens and teens, who gained notoriety when she partnered with Lifetime Television’s Dance Moms, a popular TV network reality TV show. She owned and operated a succesful brick and mortar location in New York City and had multiple merchandising deals with many of the largest retailers in the United States and abroad.

Sally Miller’s brick-and-mortar store and merchandising deals with major retailers were in good shape, but the e-commerce platform built out on Big Commerce was stumbling. VOX Digital Asset Review of the e-commerce platform revealed that it suffered from outdated design, non-mobile technology, lack of data, and overall poor performance. In the last seven months before VOX, the program had lackluster sales, an 80%* abandoned cart ratio, and six figures in lost revenue. The challenge was to move the site onto a better and mobile-friendly platform to eliminate roadblocks, decrease abandoned carts, and increase margins.

Increased sales by 59%

Together with the client, VOX:

  1. Built a mobile-responsive Shopify online store
  2. Migrated all styles and new slideshows of products from the original Big Commerce platform to Shopify
  3. Integrated the fulfillment program
  4. Installed tracking codes
  5. Added an inbound marketing program
  6. Trained staff on execution
  7. Correctly identified an under served mobile audience that represented 68%* of site visitors
  8. Oversaw an e-commerce platform that saw 107,000* visits, an average of 5.8* page views per visit, and in the same seven month period a year later, an increase in sales of more than 59%*. (*Big Commerce, Google, Shopify)
