Baby Girl was the apparel brand, the e-commerce piece of Shemar Moore’s non-profit efforts was losing one out of three online sales over 26 months. These “abandones carts” resulted in a loss of more than $50,000 per month. The challenge was to identify the abandoned cart issue, repair it, and increase orders and profits.

Sales increased by 60% over VOX first 12 months of engagement to $882,561.00. Abandoned carts dropped 88.84 % reducing losses from $50,000/month to $1,472/month. Orders increased from 5,357 to 16,357 and the average monthly gross income increased more than 100% to $73,547/month.

  1. Optimized and updated the existing Baby Girl Magento e-commerce platform to improve loading speeds
  2. Moved the website to a commercial-grade hosting solution
  3. Built a mobile-only version of the website to convert mobile sales
  4. Identified the best selling sizes and colors as well as the zip codes and countries with the most orders
  5. Connected an inbound email marketing program

Even an established brand with a hot TV show can benefit from detailed analysis of their online assets. In this case, Baby Girl had the audience but the website and hosting speed weren’t fast enough to process simultaneous orders or accept them from mobile devices.
