Website Optimization
In our last post we discussed optimizing your social media posts to be found by the search engines. Specifically we discussed “Social Media Optimization.” Social Media Optimization is one of the “legs” we described as part of the four legged stool of successful internet marketing. Those legs are:
- Social Media Optimization
- Website Optimization
- Search Engine Optimization
- Pay for Performance Advertising
In my last post I discussed Social Media Optimization. Today we’ll discuss Website Optimization. More commonly referred to as onsite SEO, Website Optimization is SEO for every page, every image, every video, and every element of your website. This is one of the great drawbacks of ‘off the shelf’ website packages. They’re limited in a number of ways but the most important may be SEO. To properly code a website and all of the elements attached to it can take hours and hours. It’s part of the reason why SEO can be expensive. So when you build otr hire someone to build your website make sure that onsite SEO is included or you have a plan to add it later. It’s one thing to have a great website for a great product or service and another to be found. Don’t forget the onsite, (website), optimization.
